Founder and principal of the firm Martin Conboy Lighting Design Inc., Martin is an award winning
designer, theatre consultant and artist with over 30 years of experience. His work has been applied to the design of over 120 high profile productions across Canada, the U.S., Europe, South America and Asia.

Notable projects include lighting for the Canadian National War Memorial and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Royal Conservatory of Music, Vimy Memorial, and the expansion of the Canada Aviation Museum. One of Martin’s proudest achievements as an artist was the co-production of Vigile 1914 – 1918 Vigil, an event held in 2008 to repatriate the names of Canadian soldiers killed in the First World War. 68,000 names of Canadian young men were projected onto buildings and monuments in London, England, and six Canadian cities over the course of seven nights.
