JULIA MARTIN, The Queer Feeling of Tomorrow, Group Exhibition Art Gallery of Guelph

September 13 - December 13, 2015
Curated by Adam Barbu, BFA '15

The Queer Feeling of Tomorrow is meant to highlight the uncertainty of our personal and political futures, mapping the ambiguous space between business-as-usual and alternative, transformative modes of thought. The hope is to slightly interrupt the logic of decisive, timely self-expression and coherent, willful “active speech” and instead to explore the contingency of our arrival to the here and now.
